Holiday Peanut Lights
- 1-3/4 cups prepared royal icing, divided
- blue, red and yellow gel food colorings
- 24 PLANTERS Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts
- 24 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- Reserve 1/4 cup icing; cover tightly and reserve for later use.
- Spoon 1/2-cup portions of remaining icing into 3 separate bowls.
- Tint with food colorings as desired to create 3 different shades.
- Use plastic forks to dip nuts, 1 at a time, into tinted icings, letting excess icing drip off nuts before placing in single layer on wire rack.
- Let stand 6 hours or until icing is firm.
- Thread large needle with string; use to pierce through marshmallows.
- Attach nuts to marshmallows with reserved icing to resemble strand of holiday lights.
- Place in shallow pan; let stand 2 hours or until icing is firm.
