Busia's Pierogi Recipe

  1. You can bake them (after boiling them) or possibly fry them & top with fried onions & lowfat sour cream ... or possibly eat them plain ... or possibly put them in soup like kreplach.
  2. Bring lowfat milk and butter almost to a boil: Add in flour to make a paste consistency.
  3. Beat 2 Large eggs, add in flour and salt to make paste.
  4. Combine both mixtures.
  5. Keep adding flour till it doesn't stick to your hands.
  6. Roll out to 1/4" thickness.
  7. Cut and fill with filling of your choice (sauerkraut, mashed potatoes with cheese, cherries).
  8. Healthy pinch together.
  9. Boil.
