Busia's Pierogi Recipe
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Butter Flour
- 2 x Large eggs Salt to taste
- You can bake them (after boiling them) or possibly fry them & top with fried onions & lowfat sour cream ... or possibly eat them plain ... or possibly put them in soup like kreplach.
- Bring lowfat milk and butter almost to a boil: Add in flour to make a paste consistency.
- Beat 2 Large eggs, add in flour and salt to make paste.
- Combine both mixtures.
- Keep adding flour till it doesn't stick to your hands.
- Roll out to 1/4" thickness.
- Cut and fill with filling of your choice (sauerkraut, mashed potatoes with cheese, cherries).
- Healthy pinch together.
- Boil.
