Layered Gelatin Dessert with JELL-O

  1. Add hot water to gelatin mix; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  2. Pour 1/4 cup gelatin into each of 20 clear dessert dishes or bowls (or into each of 5 dessert dishes for trial recipe).
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  4. Meanwhile, pour remaining gelatin into large bowl.
  5. Refrigerate 45 min.
  6. or until slightly thickened.
  7. Whisk in whipped topping until well blended.
  8. Refrigerate 1 hour or until set but not firm.
  9. Spoon about 1/3 cup of the whipped topping mixture over clear gelatin layer in each dish.
  10. Refrigerate until firm.
