Pierogi, cabbage and kielbasa bake
- 1/4 lb salted butter
- 1 medium sized green cabbage, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 lb polish kielbasa
- 2 lb pre cooked pierogi.....from grocers freezer section
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In large saute pan melt butter and cook onions until golden brown.
- Add cabbage and cook covered until cabbage wilts.
- Just a few minutes.
- Transfer onion and cabbage into 13"by 9 "roasting pan.
- Top with pierogi, salt and pepper.
- Slice kielbasa into large chunks and add.
- Cook, covered for half an hour.
- Place under broiler for 2 minutes to get a golden color on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
