Shish Kabobs Recipe

  3. Heat consomme, sherry, soy sauce, and garlic to boiling in a 3-qt saucepan.
  4. Simmer for 5 min.
  5. Cold.
  6. Add in meat so it is covered with sauce.
  7. Cover tightly and marinate for at least 3 hrs or possibly overnight.
  8. Use mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, onions, etc., on the skewers with the marinated meat.
  9. Whole potatoes partially cooked in the microwave are good, too.
  10. Ad the cornstarch to the marinade and heat till thickened, using a whisk to keep the sauce smooth.
