Amaretto Chicken Recipe
- 4 x boneless skinless chicken breasts - (to 6)
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp Madras curry pwdr
- 1 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can or possibly jar mushrooms - (4 ounce or possibly more) (or possibly use fresh mushrooms)
- 1/4 c. amaretto
- 1 tsp Gravymaster or possibly Kitchen Bouquet
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- Mix flour, curry pwdr, garlic pwdr, salt, and pepper in a plastic or possibly paper bag.
- Add in chicken breasts (rinsed and patted dry) and toss to coat.
- Brown quickly in warm vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Transfer to crock pot.
- Mix remaining ingredients and spoon over chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hrs.
- Serve with rice.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
