Roasted Red Pepper-Surf & Turf Pizza
- 4 each prepared Pizza Dough (1-lb. balls)
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 qt. shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese, divided Target 2 For $5.00 thru 02/06
- 1 cup roasted red peppers, cut into small strips
- 1-1/3 cups grilled medium-rare boneless beef strip steaks, very thinly sliced
- 2 cups peeled deveined medium shrimp, cut lengthwise in half, sauteed Safeway 1 lb For $8.99 thru 02/09
- 1 cup red onions, cut into thin wedges, sauteed
- 2 Tbsp. fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
- 3/4 cup GREY POUPON Bistro Sauce
- Roll out each ball of dough on lightly floured surface to 14-inch circle; dock evenly with fork.
- Place on pizza screens.
- Bake in 400 degrees F-convection oven 3 to 4 min.
- or until crusts are crisp and lightly browned.
- Spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce onto each crust; top with 1 cup (4 oz.)
- cheese.
- Top evenly with peppers, steak, shrimp and onions.
- Bake 2 to 3 min.
- or until toppings are heated through and cheese is melted.
- Top with herbs, bistro sauce and remaining cheese.
- Bake just until cheese is melted.
