Round Bread Rolls Filled with Anko - Made in a Bread Machine
- 280 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 20 grams Sugar
- 3 grams Salt
- 20 grams Margarine
- 3 grams Dry yeast
- 190 ml Milk
- 180 grams Red bean paste
- Place the bread dough ingredients into the bread machine and turn on the bread dough course!

- Lightly dust the counter with flour, take out the dough from the bread machine, and release the gas.
- Separate into 12 pieces and form balls.
- Place a wrung-out damp kitchen towel on top for about 20 minutes.
- Spread the balls flat and place about 15 g of anko in the center of each.
- Roll them back into balls and spray lightly with water.
- Place in an oven preheated to 40Cfor 40 minutes for the second rising.
- Coat the surfaces with beaten egg for glazing, sprinkle on some sesame seeds, and bake at 180C for 15 minutes.
- Wrapping up the anko takes some practice, but anko wrapped in moist bread is so delicious.
- I thought that anko-filled bread usually has black sesame seeds, but last time the white ones went really well with the bread, so I used more this time.
