Three Cheese Stromboli Rolls
- 1- 1/4 cup Warm Water
- 2 teaspoons Instant Yeast
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 3 cups Unbleached Flour
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 12 slices Thin Deli Sopresatta
- 12 slices Thin Deli Salami
- 12 slices Thin Deli Pepperoni
- 12 slices Deli Provolone
- 1 cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- In a large mixing bowl (or in the bowl of a stand mixer), mix the water, yeast, sugar, honey and oil.
- Then mix in 1 cup flour and the salt.
- Continue mixing in all the remaining flour until you get a nice, soft dough.
- Knead until dough is soft and smooth, about 10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes with a stand mixer.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl and cover tightly (with a lid or plastic wrap).
- Place the dough in a warm place and let rise for about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough into a long oval.
- Layer with sopresatta, salami, and pepperoni, then cheeses.
- Roll the long side away from you until sealed.
- With a sharp knife, slice into 1-inch wide rolls.
- Place each roll onto a parchment or silpat-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until outside is nice and golden brown.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
