Chicken Tetrazzini
- 2 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 can mushroom pieces
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. cream or Pet milk
- 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
- salt and pepper
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese
- Cook spaghetti according to directions.
- Cook bacon until crisp; crumble.
- Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms to bacon fat and cook until tender.
- Stir in flour, chicken broth, cream and pimiento.
- Simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add salt and pepper. Combine sauce, chicken, bacon and cooked spaghetti.
- Pour into greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
- Serves 6.
