Hearty Hot Dish Recipe
- 4 med. potatoes, cooked in jackets & peeled
- 1/2 c. cheese
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1 pound hamburger
- Onions to taste
- 1 egg
- Some corn flakes, as needed
- 1 (16 ounce.) box frzn broccoli
- 1 1/2 c. celery
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. cheese
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- In a buttered casserole place a layer of potatoes and 1/2 c. cheese.
- Take the sausage and form into balls and fry.
- Mix the hamburger, some onions, the egg and sufficient corn flakes to hold the mix together.
- Make into balls and fry.
- Drain fat.
- Cook the broccoli and celery together.
- Place the broccoli and celery on top of cheese which is in the casserole.
- Then put on a layer of sausage balls, a layer of hamburger balls.
- Combine the three cans of soup and place on top of meat layers.
- Top this with about 1/2 c. cheese that has dill weed and parsley mixed with it.
- Do not add in any salt.
- Bake at 350 degrees till cooked through.
