Strips Of Meat With Onions And Tomatoes(Venezuelan Dish)
- 2 to 2 1/2 lb. roast beef meat (round, chuck or sirloin tip) or leftover roast beef
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. grated onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 c. chopped fine onions
- 1/2 c. pimiento, chopped
- 2 c. tomatoes, chopped fine (without skin and seeds)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- Make marinade for meat:
- Combine 2 tablespoons oil, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, garlic (crushed), 3 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and ground comino.
- Mix well and rub it into the meat.
- Marinate meat for 1/2 hour.
