Potato Clam Chower

  1. NOTE: can also use heavy cream and half and half.
  2. As long as what you use is 1 quart.
  3. Dice potatoes in 1/4 to 1/2 inch cubes.
  4. Dice bacon in to 1/2 pieces start to fry add onions to bacon and saute them with bacon till done.
  5. In large pot add potatoes, clams(with juice), clam juice, soup, and half and half, stir till soup is mixed inches.
  6. Add bacon and onion.
  7. Simmer on med-low for 1 hour or so, till potatoes are tender.
  8. Mix cornstarch and water stir into soup to thicken.
  9. IF needed.
  10. Enjoy.
