Homemade Burgers
- 500 grams fresh Minced Beef
- 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 3 clove of Garlic, crushed
- 1 Onion, very finely diced
- 15 grams Spinach, chopped into small pieces
- 1 tbsp dried Basil
- 4 rounds of shop brought bread, blended into crumbs
- 1 Salt and Pepper to season
- 1 Egg, beaten (have another ready just in case)
- Place the meat, puree, garlic, onion, bread crumbs, spinach, basil all together in a bowl.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add the egg until the mixture becomes a firm combined mixture.
- Shape into burgers, place them on and cover with greaseproof paper, storing in the fridge to rest for a couple of hours, overnight better.
- Cook when ready, or if meat was fresh you could freeze them.
