Glen's Flank Steak Paprika Recipe
- 2 lbs. flank steak, cubed in 1 inch pcs
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 3 c. beef broth
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. dill seed
- 2 to 3 tbsp. warm paprika
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- Chef salt
- Fresh grnd pepper
- Mix warm paprika with sugar.
- Brown in butter and extra virgin olive oil.
- Place in onions, salt, pepper, paprika, flour and stir.
- Pour in broth and fold in tomato paste; simmer, covered till meat is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
- Blend in lowfat sour cream.
- Adjust seasonings.
- Serve with wide noodles.
