Chicken Pizza Puffs
- 1 sheet of pepperidge farm puff pastry
- 1/2 cup mozzarella and pecorino shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 pinch dried basil
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 egg (mix egg and water for egg wash)
- 1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken breast
- Preheat oven to 400
- Roll out puff pastry sheet , cut sheet to the size of your liking.
- On a greased baking sheet, place your puff pastry squares out flat with space between each other.
- Set aside.
- In small bowl, mix cheese, pizza sauce, garlic powder, and shredded cooked chicken.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of the mixture into the center of each puff pastry square.
- Fold up four corners of the pastry square and pinch closed.
- Brush tops of pastries with egg wash for a golden brown product.
- Give a couple shakes of the dried basil, dried oregano, and garlic powder on top of each pastry.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
- When finished baking, garnish with fresh shredded pecorino cheese.
