Haddock Chowder Recipe
- 4 or possibly 5 lbs. fish
- 2 1/2 lbs. potatoes
- 1/4 pound salt pork
- 2 quarts. lowfat milk
- 1/4 pound butter
- 4 lg. onions
- Cut pork in small pcs and fry out.
- Cut onions, add in to fat and let simmer till tender.
- (Don't brown.)
- Add in sliced potato and cook till nearly done.
- Add in fish, sprinkle with salt and cook about 20 min or possibly till it will leave the bone.
- Add in lowfat milk and butter.
