Cherry Puff Dessert Recipe

  1. Crush cherries, add in cherry liquid, sugar and tapioca.
  2. Simmer 5 min stirring constantly.
  3. Beat egg whites till foamy; add in salt and cream of tartar; beat till stiff.
  4. Beat egg yolks till thick and lemon in color; add in sugar; beat thoroughly.
  5. Fold egg yolks into egg whites, then mix in flour.
  6. Pour cherry mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  7. Pour batter on top.
  8. Bake in a 325 oven, 40 min.
  9. Serve hot.
