Ma Po Tofu Recipe

  1. Cut tofu into 1/2 inch cubes; deep fry in vegetable oil for 1/2 minute.
  2. Remove all oil except 3 Tbsp.
  3. and stir-fry grnd pork well.
  4. Add in garlic, warm bean paste, soy sauce, salt, soup stock and tofu.
  5. Boil for 3 min.
  6. Thicken with cornstarch paste, sprinkle with sesame oil.
  7. Place in bowl and sprinkle with peppercorn pwdr.
