Syrian Beet Salad Recipe
- 1 (#1) can Shoestring beets
- 1 pkg. lemon jello
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. horseradish
- Drain beets.
- Measure juice and add in sufficient water to make 1 1/2 c.. Bring liquid to a boil; remove from heat.
- Add in jello, sugar, vinegar, and horseradish.
- Stir till sugar and jello are dissolved.
- Add in beets.
- Turn into a 1-qt mold.
- Refrigeratetill hard.
