Noodles with Meat Miso Dipping Sauce in 10 Minutes

  1. Have a look at this recipe, if you don't have Chinese-style noodles!
  2. Pour the sesame oil into a frying pan and add all the ingredients.
  3. Put the pan on the heat.
  4. Cook over a low heat until crispy and the oil has turned to red.
  5. Add the minced pork and 1/3 teaspoon of salt.
  6. Cook over a medium heat until the meat juice becomes translucent.
  7. Once the meat becomes crumbly, add the seasonings and fry further.
  8. Once the meat and seasonings are mixed well, pour in the water.
  9. Bring to a boil and skim off any scum.
  10. Add the soy milk if you like.
  11. Check the taste and adjust it with salt and soy sauce.
  12. Make a slightly strong-flavoured sauce as this is a dipping sauce.
  13. Sprinkle with Szechuan peppercorn or black pepper when you serve.
  14. You can serve this sauce hot or cold.
  15. If you chill this sauce in the fridge, the spiciness will mild out a bit.
