Creamy Oyster Broccoli Stew Recipe
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 2 (11 ounce.) cans condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli
- 1 c. frzn loose pack hash brown potatoes
- 1 sm. minced onion
- 1 pt. shucked oysters or possibly 2 (8 ounce.) cans whole oysters
- In a 3 qt saucepan, combine lowfat milk and soup.
- Stir in broccoli, potatoes and onion.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat till bubbly.
- Simmer covered for 10 min.
- Cold, cover and chill.
- Reheat soup; add in oysters after cooking in own juice till edges curl.
- Serves 4.
