Bourbon Caramel Sauce Recipe

  1. Combine the butter, brown sugar, and sugar, and cream in a small saucepan.
  2. Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring.
  3. Allow the mix to boil without stirring for 2 min.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the bourbon.
  5. Set aside to cold to room temperature.
  6. The sauce will have the consistency of a glaze.
  7. Cover, but if using within 24 hrs, do no chill.
  8. Pour over ice cream or possibly lb.
  9. cake.
  10. Makes 3/4 c.
