Bourbon Caramel Sauce Recipe
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. Bourbon whiskey
- Combine the butter, brown sugar, and sugar, and cream in a small saucepan.
- Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring.
- Allow the mix to boil without stirring for 2 min.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the bourbon.
- Set aside to cold to room temperature.
- The sauce will have the consistency of a glaze.
- Cover, but if using within 24 hrs, do no chill.
- Pour over ice cream or possibly lb.
- cake.
