Black and White Bean Chili
- 12 ounces ground beef
- 2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 12 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 14 cup chopped sun-dried tomato
- 1 medium jalapeno chili, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 -3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper
- 14 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- Cook beef in skillet until brown, crumbling with a fork.
- Combine beef and remaining ingredients, except salt, pepper and cilantro, in slow cooker; cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Discard bay leaf; season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve garnished with cilantro.
