Snowman Cake
- 1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup cold milk
- 2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- 1 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 8 Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, cut in half
- 24 miniature candy-coated chocolate pieces
- 8 worm-shaped chewy fruit snacks
- 2 Tbsp. coloured sprinkles
- Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 2 (9-inch) round layers.
- Cool 10 min.
- ; remove from pans to wire racks.
- Cool completely.
- Meanwhile, beat dry pudding mix, sugar and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.
- Stir in Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Stack cake layers on plate, spreading some of the frosting between layers.
- Frost top and side with remaining frosting.
- Refrigerate.
- Meanwhile, melt chocolate square; cool to room temperature.
- Place marshmallow halves, cut-sides down, on parchment paper.
- Spoon melted chocolate into small resealable plastic bag.
- Cut off tiny corner from bottom of bag; squeeze chocolate from bag to add 2 eyes and mouth to each of 8 marshmallow halves for the snowmen's heads.
- Place 3 candy-coated chocolate pieces down centre of each of the remaining marshmallows for the snowmen's bodies, securing chocolate pieces to marshmallows with remaining melted chocolate.
- Press snowmen bodies into frosting in side of cake.
- Top each with fruit snack folded in half for the scarf.
- Add marshmallow heads, pressing into frosting to secure.
- Decorate top of cake with sprinkles.
- Keep refrigerated.
