Tahini (for hummas)

  1. toast seeds in oven at 350F for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Occasionaly shake them so they don't burn.
  3. Do not brown.
  4. Let cool completely.
  5. Put seeds in a food processor and purer with half the oil.
  6. Puree into a pourable paste adding oil as needed.
  7. Can add more if needed.
  8. Can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 months.
