Family-Style Pasta With Sauce-Oamc
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (28 ounce) cans tomatoes
- 1 12 cups pure grape juice
- 1 (370 ml) jar roasted red peppers, drained and pureed
- 14 cup tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 cups hot cooked pasta (1 1/2lbs uncooked)
- In a dutch oven, brown ground beef over med-high heat, breaking up with spoon.
- drain off any fat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, crushing with fork, grape juice, red pepper puree, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, oregano and basil.
- Cook for 1 minute, stirring and scraping up brown bits from bottom of pan.
- Reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered and stirring occasionally for 45 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Serve over pasta.

- Transfer to airtight containers and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
