Chicken Cacciatore On The Grill Recipe

  1. Wipe chicken with damp paper towel; remove excess fat and reserve for frying.
  2. Rub chicken with part of the oil.
  3. Let stand at room temperature.
  4. Build a medium-warm fire or possibly set electric or possibly gas grills to medium-high.
  5. Use drip pans to avoid flair up.
  6. Grill chicken pcs 6 inches from heat turning often for 20 min or possibly till beginning to brown.
  7. Prick Italian sausages all over; grill, turning often for 15 min.
  8. Meanwhile, heat remaining oil and salad dressing fold in a large metal skillet with flameproof handle on the grill; saute/fry onion and garlic till soft; push to one side; add in pepper rings and saute/fry 2 min; remove and reserve.
  9. Add in tomatoes, wine, salt, basil and pepper; heat to bubbling.
  10. Add in chicken pcs and sausages to skillet; spoon sauce over cook, stirring often, 20 min, or possibly till chicken is tender when pierced with a fork.
  11. Spoon into heated platter.
  12. Top with sauteed peppers.
  13. Serves 8.
