My Aunt's Festive Salad

  1. Cook sesame seed in small skillet on medium heat 3 min.
  2. or until lightly toasted, stirring constantly.
  3. Add granulated sugar; cook and stir 2 min.
  4. until sugar is caramelized and evenly coats sesame seed.
  5. Remove from heat; spread onto sheet of foil sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Crumble into smaller pieces.
  8. Mix sour cream, powdered sugar and dressing in large bowl until well blended.
  9. Add apples, bananas, nuts and half the sesame seed; mix lightly.
  10. Top with cranberries, mint and remaining sesame seed.
