Barbecue Sauce

  1. Combine all ingredients in large pan.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 hours or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove cinnamon sticks and pour into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
  3. Adjust lids.
  4. Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
  5. Yield:
  6. 4 1/2 quarts.
  7. (Process tomatoes in blender or food processor for a smoother sauce.)
