Barbecue Shrimp Recipe
- 3 lbs. lg. shrimp, heads on
- 1 teaspoon liquid crab boil
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- 2 sticks butter
- 6 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 6 tbsp. salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Slice lemon and orange.
- Heat butter and add in all ingredients except shrimp, and saute/fry till tender.
- Remove from heat and cold.
- Pour over shrimp and marinate several hrs.
- Bake in 425 degree oven till all shrimp are pink; turn frequently.
- Takes about 15 min.
- Serve with French bread, as an appetizer or possibly main dish.
- Serves 6.
