Easy Crock Pot Chicken No liquid required

  1. Clean whole chicken, remove neck, and giblets.
  2. Rinse cavity, pat dry, and salt inside and out.
  3. Place whole chicken in crock pot, add listed ingredients, No liquid is required as the chicken will cook in its own juices.
  4. set on low for 8 hours.
  5. When finished, chicken will be exceptionally moist, so use care in removing from crock.
  6. Cut chicken to serve.
  7. Spoon remaining broth over chicken, so chicken doesn't dry out before serving.
  8. When finished carving chicken.
  9. Take skin, and bones, place back into remaining broth, add 3 cups of water, and place on low overnight.
  10. Allow to cool, then place in fridge, skim fat, and save remaining broth.
  11. You can use immediately, or freeze for later use.
