Easy Crock Pot Chicken No liquid required
- 1 large whole chicken
- 3 tsp Paprika
- 3 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tsp fresh rosemary
- 3 tsp tarragon
- 3 tsp minced Gallic
- 1/2 bag of baby carrots
- 1/2 bag of small baby red, or yellow potatoes.
- 1 medium onion
- Clean whole chicken, remove neck, and giblets.
- Rinse cavity, pat dry, and salt inside and out.
- Place whole chicken in crock pot, add listed ingredients, No liquid is required as the chicken will cook in its own juices.
- set on low for 8 hours.
- When finished, chicken will be exceptionally moist, so use care in removing from crock.
- Cut chicken to serve.
- Spoon remaining broth over chicken, so chicken doesn't dry out before serving.
- When finished carving chicken.
- Take skin, and bones, place back into remaining broth, add 3 cups of water, and place on low overnight.
- Allow to cool, then place in fridge, skim fat, and save remaining broth.
- You can use immediately, or freeze for later use.
