Carrot and Basil Salad with Honey Mustard Mayonnaise

  1. Shred the carrots.
  2. You can use a slicer.
  3. Lightly sprinkle with salt and let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. (Enough to allow the carrots to become slightly salty).
  5. Combine the ingredients.
  6. When the carrots become tender, mix into the bowl in Step 2, garnish with hand-shredded basil leaves, and serve.
  7. Transfer to serving dish and serve.
