Hash Brown Dinner
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, divided
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 pkg. (32 oz.) frozen hash browns
- corn flakes
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Melt VELVEETA, 1 stick of the butter and soup in saucepan on low heat.
- Mix well.
- Put hash browns in 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Pour VELVEETA mixture over potatoes.
- Crush corn flakes into small pieces.
- Melt remaining stick of butter.
- Mix butter and crushed corn flakes.
- Spread corn flake mixture on top of potatoes.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
- (Crushed potato chips can be used in place of corn flakes.)
