Tangy Bacon Pasta Toss

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in large skillet until crisp.
  3. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
  4. Discard all but 1 Tbsp.
  5. drippings from skillet.
  6. Add dressing, peas and onions; cook and stir 3 to 4 min.
  7. on medium heat or until peas are heated through.
  8. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  9. Place pasta in large bowl.
  10. Add vegetable mixture and bacon; mix lightly.
  11. Gradually stir in reserved pasta water, if needed, until pasta mixture is of desired consistency.
  12. Top with cheese.
