CHICKEN PENNE Salad (pasta)

  1. Cook pasta according to al dente instructions.
  2. Pasta should be full bodied.
  3. Stir in olive oil.
  4. Drain juice from canned chicken and add chicken to pasta.
  5. Add bacon bits and chopped celery.
  6. Add tomatoes, sliced olives, and almonds to salad.
  7. Season salad with salt and lemon pepper.
  8. Stir in mayonaise.
  9. Store finished salad in a covered container in refrigerator to chill before serving.
