Scones

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  2. Work in butter.
  3. Add 2 eggs and stir in a little less than 1/2 cup (125 ml) cream.
  4. Roll out thick on floured board and cut.
  5. Brush with egg white.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Can add cut up dates, raisins, nuts or whatever you want.
  8. Bake in fast oven.
