Submarine Sandwich
- 1 loaf French bread, cut horizontally lengthwise
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine, softened
- 4 ounces swiss cheese, sliced
- 12 lb genoa salami, sliced
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 12 lb cooked ham, thinly sliced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 14 cup creamy Italian dressing
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- 14 teaspoon prepared hot mustard
- 14 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 12 teaspoon minced onion
- 12 teaspoon minced scallion
- 14-12 teaspoon fresh dill
- Special Sauce:.
- Add mayonnaise, sour cream, prepared hot mustard, prepared horseradish, minced scallions, chopped fresh dill to bowl.
- Mix well.
- Assemble Sandwich:.

- Spread sauce on cut sides of bread slices.

- Layer ham, roast beef, Genoa salami, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, sliced onion, pepperoncini on one bread slice.
- Top with remaining slice.
- Secure with toothpicks.
