Cheddar Pear Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. In a bowl, combine pears, sugar, cornstarch and salt.
  3. Pour into pastry shell.
  4. Combine topping ingredients with a fork until crumbly; sprinkle over filling.
  5. Bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
  8. Store in the refrigerator--if you have any left!
