Beef with Broccoli

  2. Cook your rice.
  3. I made 2 cups dry to have for leftovers.
  4. Set aside.

  6. Slice your flank steak into about 1/8 thick strips; cut against the grain.
  7. Combine the marinade ingredients and marinate beef for 10-30 minutes.

  9. Add your broccoli to a bowl; fill with about an inch of water.
  10. Cover with Saran wrap (loosely) and microwave for about 2.5 to 3 minutes; drain and set aside.

  12. In a large skillet (or wok if youre equipped like that), add in cooking oil and turn heat to high.
  13. 5.
  14. In a bowl, add the sauce ingredients.
  15. Mix well and set aside.
  16. 6.
  17. When oil is hot, add in beef strips.
  18. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then pour sauce over the beef and add in broccoli; stir well.
  19. Cook until beef is thoroughly cooked.
  20. Serve over rice.
