Spice Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- 1/2 cup margarine softened
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup, light lt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 18 teaspoon ginger
- 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats old fashioned
- 1 cup raisins, seedless
- Cream margarine, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water, and vanilla; beat well.
- Combine flour baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
- Beat well; stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 15 minutes.
- Cool slightly on sheet before removing to cooling racks.
