AMIEs Beef and Cucumber Salad

  1. Trim the beef removing any fat or sinew.
  2. Cut into thin slices lengthwise.
  3. Heat the oil in a medium frying pan over low-medium heat.
  4. Add the garlic and saute until softened.
  5. Put the beef and cook for a minute.
  6. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool slightly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Whisk 2 tablespoon of olive oil and lemon juice together in a small bowl.
  9. Add the balsamic vinegar .
  10. Season with salt and toss to combine.
  11. Arrange the cocumber in a serving dish, with the slices of cooked beef on top.
  12. Pour the dressing over and toss to coat.
  13. Serve, share and enjoy.
