Yuzu Pepper Flavored Japanese Leek and Chicken Tenders

  1. Take the sinews off the chicken tenders, and slice diagonally into bite sized pieces.
  2. Put the chicken with the sake into a heatproof container, cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 4 minutes.
  3. Leave it as is until it's cooked through in residual heat.
  4. Slice the leek diagonally, put into a heatproof container, and microwave for 3 minutes.
  5. Combine with the cooked chicken in a serving bowl.
  6. Combine the seasonings to make the sauce.
  7. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and leek and it's done.
