Diamond Walnut Raspberry Brownies Recipe
- 3 sq. (3 ounce.) unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. minced Diamond walnuts
- 1/3 c. raspberry jam
- Heat chocolate with shortening over hot water; cold slightly.
- Blend together Large eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt; stir in chocolate mix, then flour.
- Mix in walnuts.
- Turn into well-greased 8 inch square pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 min.
- Spoon jam over warm brownies; spread carefully; let cold.
- Spread Velvet Chocolate Glaze over brownies and top with chocolate-dipped walnuts, if you like.
- Cut into 12 delicious bars.
