Guinness Corned Beef

  1. Remove the corned beef from the package.
  2. Rinse and pat dry.
  3. Trim some of the fat off.
  4. Rub brown sugar onto the meat.
  5. Place in a slow cooker or crockpot and pour enough Guinness to adequately cover the entire brisket.
  6. Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
  7. I serve this with roasted potatoes and carrots and of course, cabbage.
