Bhel With A Difference Recipe
- 1 c. Corn flakes or possibly toasted noodles crushed
- 1 x Tomato finely minced
- 1 x Onion finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. Boiled corn kernels, (optional)
- 1 x Potato, boiled peeled finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. Coriander leaves finely minced
- 1 tsp Green chutney, (refer chutneys)
- 1 Tbsp. Tamarind chutney, (refer chutneys)
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Chaat masala Salt to taste
- 1/2 c. Fine sev, (optional)
- Use the instant noodles variety eg.
- Maggie in India.
- Crush them lightly.
- Toast them dry in a heavy pan, stirring continuously till light and crunchy.
- Cold, keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add in the onions, tomato, potato, corn, coriander.
- Just before serving , add in the chutneys, salt chaat masala, chilli pwdr.
- Add in the noodles or possibly corn flakes and mix gently with hand or possibly a spatula.
- Put in individual serving bowls, garnish with sev and coriander.
- Serve immediately.
