Kadhi - Basic: Quick and Simple

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin, ajwain and mustard seeds.
  3. Cook 2 mins.
  4. Add onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic turmeric paste and cook 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl mix yogurt, besan and water.
  6. Use a whisk.
  7. Make sure there are no lumps.
  8. Add this to the pot.
  9. Add salt.
  10. Bring it to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.
  11. Cook to desired thickness.
  12. Don't let it boil over.
  13. Don't cover.
  14. You may leave a wooden spoon in the pot.
