Cheesy Shell Lasagne..........mmm!!!
- 1 12 lbs ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 14 12 ounces diced tomatoes
- 14 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 4 ounces mushroom pieces
- 8 ounces small shell pasta
- 2 cups sour cream
- 8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- In a non stick skillet cook the beef, onion, and garlic until no pink remains in the beef.
- Drain stir in the tomatoes,meatless spaghetti sauce and undrained mushrooms.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile cook pasta according to pkg directions.
- Drain.
- Place half of the pasta in an ungreased 13X9 dish.Top with half of the meat sauce, sour cream and provolene cheese.
- Repeat the layers.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until the cheexe begins to brown.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
- Serve with garlic bread and a nice salad.
- Don't forget to take a picture!
- **I use marinara spaghetti sauce.
