Grilled Prawns
- 1 pound prawns (16/20 count, shells on and deveined)
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- If using wooden BBQ skewers soak in water for at least one hour.
- Mix marinade ingredients and soak prawns for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat and make a grill shield with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Arrange prawns on your BBQ skewers.
- Grill over Direct Deat for about 2 or 3 minutes on the first sight (rotate on the grill as needed to avoid hot spots).
- When they start to turn color flip on the grill and cook for another minute or 2 (be careful not to overcook).
- Remove from the grill and serve immediatel (you can serve with a dipping sauce if you like).
