Pulled Pork with Peanuts
- 3 lb. boneless pork shoulder
- 1 tsp. barbecue seasoning blend, divided
- 1 bottle (18 oz.) KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1 cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, finely chopped Rite Aid Buy 1 Get 1 Free thru 02/06
- 1 cup water
- 12 hamburger buns, partially split
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil.
- Rub meat with 1/2 tsp.
- of the seasoning blend; place in prepared pan.
- Mix barbecue sauce, peanuts, water and remaining 1/2 tsp.
- seasoning blend; pour over meat.
- Cover pan tightly with foil.
- Bake 4 to 5 hours or until meat is cooked through (160 degrees F) and tender, basting occasionally with the barbecue sauce mixture and adding more water, if necessary.
- Remove meat from pan to cutting board, reserving liquid in pan.
- Cut meat into small pieces or shred with fork.
- Return to pan; stir to evenly coat meat with sauce.
- Fill each bun with 1/2 cup of the meat mixture just before serving.
